Since the defeat of Illidan...
It's been another long while since our last update. A lot has happened since then.
Patch 2.4 was dropped. The patch brought on cool new chat features, cool new dailies, the Sunwell daily quest progression race, and the awakening of Oniji to his tanking potential.
Until the patch dropped we were just gathering bear mounts, and farmed Black Temple while waiting for the patch. Roshambeau decides his RTP ability has not been given proper recognition as of late, leading to another Risen fact.
We pulled the Illidari Council, and promptely wiped after Rosh got his spell steal resisted. Then he said, "Don't worry. It won't happen again." or something to that effect. What do you know. Next pull... he gets resisted again.
The warlocks showed they were a creative bunch, and were getting good at making on the fly artwork in BT
Venturing into Sunwell...
Even though we never had the time to fully farm Black Temple, we definitely had the urge and need to step foot into Sunwell. It was not long before Salami the Delicious, I mean Sathrovarr the Corruptor, was defeated and Kalecgos saved.
Next came THE gear check fight of the Burning Crusade. The fight that requires healers to be on the ball, DPS to be unleasing the entirety of their fury, and tanks avoiding losing to the RNG game.
In order to prepare for this fight, all of us re-evaluated our gear sets, personal strategies, and did a whole lot of research. Some of us even went the length to level up in life, channel demonic energies (Ask A Warlock), and created very important macros.
Brutallus had it coming for him, when he spouted an awkwardly specific taunt at us.
You wanted 24 more people (though I can't say Faewn is exactly a "best" friend)? You got it!
Legendary!
Though we had Felmyst ahead of us, our time left in Black Temple was running short.
While trying to scrounge up the last of our upgrades, we didn't forget to have fun
We tanked Mother Shahraz as blood elves, made awful puns and pointed comments about upgrades, while having deep discussions about why dragons change their names.
We had some new revelations, Freudian slips, and of course, moreDebob bashing while he's not online.
Where did that lead us? It led us to finally getting our first main raid Legendary item while we still were raiding the content.
Congratulations Elumako, and Risen on our first Warglaive of Azzinoth! Truly a guild effort, with a little touch of luck.
Let's continue to push through Sunwell, and keep kicking butt through WotLK.
